Our Vision

Create Opportunities for Vulnerable Children

To create life-changing opportunities for vulnerable children and build a society where every child is treated with dignity, equality, and respect. We envision a future where all vulnerable children have access to education and the support they need to reach their full potential.

We provide comprehensive support to orphans and vulnerable children affected by the Anglophone crisis in the Northwest and West regions of Cameroon, helping them overcome adversity and achieve their full potential. Many of these children lost their parents during the crisis and were already living in poverty. The crisis, which escalated in 2017, has worsened their situation, with homes and schools burned down, leaving these children without support or sponsors.

What We Do

Education Programs

We offer academic support to ensure orphans and vulnerable children have access to quality education. Our summer school program serves as a preparatory course for school dropouts, helping them reintegrate into the school system. 

Vocational Training

For those interested in developing life skills, we offer vocational training in fields such as tailoring, motor mechanics, hairdressing, and other areas of their choice to promote self-reliance. 

Psychosocial Support

We provide essential items like clothing and food to families who have lost their means of survival, ensuring children do not face malnutrition and feel a sense of belonging in their communities. We also operate a community farm where women can work to secure a stable food supply.

Trauma Healing

Our counselors provide trauma healing and emotional support to help children recover from the crisis and rebuild their sense of security.

How We Work

  • Community Focal Points: We have dedicated volunteers who help identify and reach children in need from various backgrounds.
  • Local Partnerships: Collaborating with local partners and stakeholders, we identify and enroll vulnerable children in our programs.
  • Personalized Support: Our team of educators and counselors provides individualized support tailored to each child’s unique needs.
  • Safe and Nurturing Environment: We create a supportive space where children can learn, heal, and grow.

Who We Work With

  • Widows: Women with limited resources, striving to provide for their children.
Through our programs, we aim to build a brighter, more resilient future for these children and families, equipping them with the tools they need to thrive despite adversity.

We currently have many vulnerable children on our waiting list, waiting for the chance to receive the support they desperately need. Due to limited resources, we are unable to assist every child who has been identified as vulnerable. Your help can make a direct impact in their lives.
